Explore the heart of local farming with "The Bruce Farm Tour." Step out of the hotel and into the world of agriculture; peaceful and passionate. Meet the dedicated farmers who have devoted their lives to their feilds, their animals and their community; hear their unique stories and experience farm life firsthand. Join Director of Tourism & Events, Nick Benninger and embark on a journey to explore the countryside and deepen your understanding for your food and the process from Farm to Fork.

Tour attendees are invited to meet in the lobby of the Bruce Hotel at 9am to commence the tour. Throughout the tour, Nick will guide you through each property sharing the rich histories and vital functions of the farm all while guests enjoy the exquisite creations from the Bruce Hotel's culinary team featuring ingredients sourced directly from the farms.

The 2024 tour season will feature Perth Pork Products, a family-run farm specializing in heritage breeds of pork, Appleflats, Canada’s only crab apple farm, and Pfennings Organic Vegetables, a large-scale organic farm producing a diverse range of mixed vegetables.

The four hour tour concludes with a return to The Bruce Hotel, where you will be greeted with sparkling hard cider from Appleflats. If you choose to extend the journey you can indulge in a pre-fixe menu that highlights the best offerings from local producers, including those visited on the tour.
