Molly Berg                                  General  Manager

A native Californian, Molly was born and raised in the Central Valley where she obtained her first job as a Hotel Valet at the age of seventeen. Her love for hospitality and everything hotel related bloomed.


She followed newfound passion to the Historic Wawona Hotel just inside the south Entrance of Yosemite National Park where she was the Front Office Manager for two years, until she found herself searching for something more.

 
In the fall of 2010, Molly became the Director of Operations at Château du Sureau and Erna’s Elderberry House Restaurant, a AAA 5-Star, Forbes 5-Diamond, Relais & Chateaux property. For the next five years she worked closely with the owner to grow and develop unique one-of-a-kind guest experiences, firmly implanting her love for small, boutique hotels and fine dining restaurants.


In the Summer of 2016 she moved to Southern California to assist in the rebranding of a 30-Room oceanfront boutique hotel in La Jolla. She improved their overall operation, assisting in making them the #1 Hotel in La Jolla, and #2 in the City of San Diego.


If you happen to find her away from the hotel, she will most likely be walking along the river, reading, or sampling some unique cuisine.
